It is more and more common to see SAP BI tools to be used for statistical and operational reporting on top of SAP CRM. CRM is one of the transactional data modules in SAP Netweaver providing Customer Relationship Management capabilities. One of the benefits of using SAP BI together with CRM is that integrating the two is a relatively easy task considering the range of integration components delivered by SAP Business Content. At the same time BI 7 is a proven datawarehousing and reporting tool.
